As part of the OmimimO project, Starlite participated in a design workshop for students planned by Professor Masami Nanakida and her seminar students from the Department of Early Childhood Education at Hijiyama Junior College.
On the day of the workshop, students from the Department of Early Childhood Education, the Department of Comprehensive Human Life Skills, and the Department of Fine Arts attended, resulting in over 60 design ideas for earmuffs.
The students shared their thoughts, such as “What kind of shapes make children smile?” “What kind of earmuffs make kids want to wear them?”. Through discussions and design proposals reflecting those ideas, a colorful, uniquely diverse “OmimimO” was born. Now we will create prototypes based on those ideas.
